If you’re a follower of my blog, you’ll know I’m all about Self-Love, Empowering and Healing unhealthy relationships with yourself and food. No, lifting weights will not make you bulky. It will not make you manly. But it WILL make you more confident, more empowered and improve your overall health and wellbeing. There are so many benefits of strength training and I’m yet to find any negatives. No matter your age, schedule, gender, or lifestyle you CAN start strength training and begin to reap the benefits.
I believe we are all born into the universe with a calling, something that we are supposed to be doing with our lives and we won’t ever be happy or settled until we are living in this light. Our soul has a purpose, and until we are pursuing this purpose you’ll always have this niggling feeling which won’t go away. Some people are lucky enough to know what this is straight away, others it takes them years and some never trust their own instincts enough to follow their dreams.
Whether you are a morning person or not, establishing a healthy morning routine can set a positive tone for the rest of the day. It will also allow you to create habits which will last your lifetime.
Many people are constantly looking for new motivation to live a healthy active lifestyle. Motivation seems amazing in the moment, but then nowhere to be found the next. It is then when you need to have healthy positive habits that are part of who you are, ingrained within you as an integral component of your life.
The relationship we have with ourselves is the most important and longest relationship you will ever be in– after all it will last your lifetime. By becoming your own best friend, you are allowing yourself to live to your fullest and truest potential. You will accept your flaws, love your body and have a much healthier positive aspect on life, away from negative and destructive mind sets.
We are all born into the universe with a purpose, a calling and a destiny. You may already know what your calling is or you may not. But your soul will not feel settled until it is living in its light. We all have a light wanting to burn brightly inside us. It is the same light that glows through our skin and make us appear radiant when we are unconditionally happy. However, society and those around us are there to throw us off track and challenge us. If we back down to the challenge our inner light will dim and for some, disappear.
We all have dreams and goals but sometimes they can seem so unrealistic and unachievable. Do you often wonder how all the other successful girl bosses made it? Are you comparing yourself and wondering if you’ll ever catch up? Well stop… if you aren’t where you want to be yet, no problem! It’s just time to set yourself a killer girl boss routine and begin smashing your goals.
If you have been following my blog over the past few months, you’ll know that I have been running a series of blog posts called the Guide to Self-Love. I want to share with you all how important it is to love yourself and live as your best self. Through doing this, I have let go of my bad relationship with food, become the happiest I have ever been and learnt to not give a sh*t about what other people think.
Today, there aren’t many girls which AREN’T on some sort of hormonal contraception. So many young girls are put on to the pill by their GP from the age of 14-15. Often not even for contraception but to regulate periods or prevent acne. This can cause complications later in life because rather than fixing the original problem such as irregular, heavy or painful periods, they have simply masked it with the pill.
Nothing says cold nights and lazy Sundays like a roast dinner! Roast dinners are my ultimate comfort food and something I know I have previously deprived myself from when dieting. But here I have created a HEALTHY MACRO-FRIENDLY Sunday roast that you can enjoy with your family without going off track.
