Welcome to my Blog, I’m Danielle, a 20-year-old personal trainer with a huge passion for Health and Fitness!
Throughout my teenage years I had a very unhealthy relationship with food which led to an eating disorder at the age of 14. During my recovery, I had many ups and downs however, I only believe I started truly having a better relationship with food when I ditched the endless hours of cardio and restrictive dieting for strength training and fuelling my body.
I found I had a huge passion for lifting weights and becoming stronger and along with the empowerment this gave me, this led me to eventually compete. But more importantly, this journey taught me to fuel my body. It taught me to listen to what my body wanted, and what it needed, to perform at its best.
In 2016, I entered several Powerlifting competitions and managed to set British records for my category which meant I qualified for the British finals in February of this year. At the finals, I won my class and set 3 world records for the W.D.F.P.F federation qualifying for the world finals in Boston, USA which I am very proud of. This year I have also successfully competed in strong woman and excited to see what else I can achieve.
This blog is my little space to share my passion, tips, recipes, reviews and hopefully help women who are in a similar position as I was to empower them and motivate them to get strong and healthy. Eat well, train hard and most importantly feed your soul.
